1911 "THE BOOK OF BABY BEASTS" E J DETMOLD ILLUSTRATED LARGE HARDBACK BOOK (P8)

Great antique LARGE hardback book on baby animal with descriptions by Florence E Dugdale and fantastic full page colour illustrations by E J Detmold. No publication date but research shows this was published in 1911. Contains illustrations throughout. I have checked the illustrations and only the polar bear illustration is missing. Photos 18 & 19 show two loose pages but other pages seem bound strong. Photo 20 shows a split on the cover spine edge. Photo 21 shows a torn off corner of the first blank page. Photo 22 shows antique pen writing from 1915. Photo 23 shows exposed webbing on the inside back cover crease and the last blank page is partially detached. Photo 24 shows a gap between the cover spine and the pages but cover is still attached fine but binding feels a bit wobbly. Some pages have small smudges, marks or foxing but other pages inside are in nice condition especially as the book is 113 years old. 

Measures 28.5cm tall x 23cm wide x 3.75cm thick. Weighs 1.5kg.
