Seller's Description
ts319 Antique WW1 postcard as per image - reverse has some age fading - has message from the soldier about the card and how it was not a happy event as it was full of dead soldiers - has corner fraying (browned area to lower left) - ageing - etc - strong used appearance - good overall condition.
Soldiers message on reverse (if slightly incorrect its because I cant quite make out the writing)... "...Just a card of some of the London Irish Battles.. I was in all the affairs with the exception of Albert & Anere. "Happy Valley" was my first time of the top, and it was not a very appropiate name for it as it was full of dead.."
