"To the Constables of the Constabulary Force of the County of Stafford, and to the Keeper of the House of Correction at Stafford....Whereas Thomas Welsh of Bradley Green, foreman...was on the eleventh day of July one thousand eight hundred and seventy at the Parish of Biddulph...was drunk...for the said offence should pay the sum of five shillings...should pay to Richard Longden, the Prosecutor in the case, the sum of eleven shillings, for his costs...should not be paid forthwith the said Thomas Welsh should be imprisoned in the House of Correction, for the space of seven days unless the said several sums and the costs...".  Has one signature.  Has been folded.  It has a note on the back that it was paid.
