1862 - 1927 Canada Confederation Medallion / Medal - 60th Anniversary
This is a 1862 - 1927 Canada Confederation medallion / medal celebrating the 60th anniversary as shown. According to Numista it is almost twice as thick as a present day loonie. It was issued to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation. The busts are of Queen Victoria and George V. These were given out to every child attending school in 1927.
Condition as photos,I think the general condition is good collectable for the age. As you can see in the photos, there are general handling and storage marks etc. One side has a stain as can be seen, the look could be improved with a careful clean.
