Post Card PC WP&YR White Pass & Yukon Railroad Engine #73 Carcross L-1370-F New

I bought this on a recent trip to Whitehorse, Yukon.

This Postcard is of the White Pass & Yukon Railway (WP&YR) engine 73 at Carcross Yukon at the Golden Spike Centennial Celebration.

This Postcard is new and has never been mailed.

It measures approximately 6 X 4 inches.

This postcard is in excellent condition.

The rear reads:

The White Pass and Yukon Railway was the link between tidewater at Skagway, Alaska and Whitehorse, Yukon from the turn of the century until the early 19aO's, when the Klondike Highway was constructed. Now the train visits the picturesque goldrush town of Carcross only a few times each summer. Each visit draws a crowd. Pictured here is the Golden Spike Ceremony at the railway's cenntenial celebration.
