• Condition: Good condition – though p158 had a corner turned over in the past. Everything else is in great shape.
• General Comments: The University has undergone various transformations, starting off as the “Royal Polytechnic Institution" in 1837, then became the Polytechnic Regent Street" before transforming into the "Polytechnic of Central London", and Finally, from 1992 onwards it became known as the "University of Westminster". There is even an overseas branch of the university in Uzbekistan! Notable Alumni have included the creator of the Captain Pugwash cartoons – John Ryan, Quentin Crisp, Michael Jackson – a BBC controller, Dominic Grieve, Sir Alexander Fleming (discover of Penicillin). Cherie Blaire used to be a former faculty/staff member. Overall this is a nice colourful prospectus with a map of London inside the back cover. This prospectus would be ideal for anyone (or a friend/relative of) who had their photo taken for this prospectus. Or for anyone who graduated from the University, who wants a nice souvenir of what the university is getting up to these days. Could even be used by other university prospectus design departments in see what the competition have been up to in the past!
