Trouble was, that the rate I used to sell at, I couldn't accumulate cardboard fast enough! That's why I opted for the board backed envellopes.

I store them upright in shoeboxes (with lids to keep the dust off).

It is wise to protect your cards when you post them out. For ease I use card backed enveloppes ( which is reflected in my p&p charges), but you could just use ordinary enveloppes and use a piece of stiff card (any old cardboard box cut into rectangulars the right size) to protect them.
I use C5 size envelopes, we keep all the cereal boxes and similar, and use a guilotine to cut the card to the same size as the envelopes. The Postcard is then sandwiched between two pieces of card and sealed in the envelope, i also put one of my address stickers on the card sandwich before putting it in the envelope, then there is at least a chance it might come back to me if the envelope gets damaged on the journey.

I work in the village shop and we get quite a few boxes that things like chocolate bars and biscuits are delivered in that are just the right size for storing postcards, so have a word with your local shop.

Its only because somers aunt enjoys something to do, she lives in elderly persons flats & they have a refuse room, so everyday she goes to see what card board is there & also somers Mum saves ceral pkts for her, so she keeps us more than supplied, & then she says between us we are doing our bit for recyclying, she likes being active, mind you its amazing what she finds thrown out. luckly she nows where we are.

I managed to get a rubber stamp from a stationers with "DO NOT BEND" on, and use an ink pad with red ink. overall it is a lot cheaper the buying DO NOT BEND stickers, and less time consuming than using a red felt pen to write it on.

On the other hand, I don't get complaints about p&p being too high - even on feepay my ratings for p&p used to be 4.8, where I've seen sellers who offer free p&p with the same rating!!
But then I don't know how many sales I might be missing out on because of my p&p.
