Changing language of my account

Hi I now live in France but I am english. I am still learning the French language so I would like my account in english. I have looked high and low but cant find any way of changing my account to english so I can read it. Can some one please help Chris

I'm afraid you're stuck with it. As you are based in France, you have to be linked to the French site, and this is now in French. If you find yourself stuck over a particular bit, just change the address bar from "uk" to "fr", but it will only work in the general selling pages, not your account/my ebid stuff I think.

Or the other way around as you want to go from French to English.

To be honest I think the "option" should be available for people to choose, especially as the non-English sites have been available in English only, for so long.

After all eBid Canada is in English, but I'm sure there are many French Canadians that would prefer to use the French option were it available to them.

I have the same here. I really want to have everything English, but I'm Dutch. Please make an option to set the preferred language?

Having dual languages would be the ideal. I am operating on the Spanish site selling English books aimed at the ex-pat market so this change to the site being completely Spanish is frustrating! Admittedly I'm not getting many sales at the moment but this is going to make it harder to reach my target audience!

Do you write your descriptions in English or Spanish? For me I do the German books in German, as I think that if the buyer can't understand what I have written, they wouldn't understand the book itself

So that means Spain and Netherlands are in local languages now then - won't be long until Germany follows? The French on the France site is showing some improvements gradually...
