Google Base. Incorrect Negative Buyer Reviews

Hi Everyone,

How many of you have checked the buyer reviews against your items listed for sale on Google Base ?.

I have checked some of my items for sale, to find negative and positive reviews for me that are incorrect !, some are from last year before i was even a member on ebid !, and i haven't actually sold anything yet anyway !

It states that the reviews are computer generated, but by who ?

How can they be stopped ?

Does anyone know if Google can remove them or stop this from happening ?

I have checked reviews for other ebid memembers to find they have exactly the same reviews as me !, by the same person ! ( who i have never heard of ! )

Could this be affecting our possible sales potential ?

Your thoughts on this would be of interest to me !

Given that the system is incorrectly showing reviews against sellers, there's nothing to suggest that any accurate review will show correctly. Though there's nothing to stop you trying it if you know how and where to set about it.

This happens.......because eBid is classed as the "seller" and those reviews are from buyers who have used Google Checkout to make a purchase on ebid.

I've opted out of ebid doing my uploads......and do it myself instead but for some strange reason - it links me with others sellers too

But 28 positive reviews (5/5) are better than the garbage that's tagged on to ebid imo

My reviews would appear to belong to A-list Photos & Posters - eBid Store. So why they get tagged on to my Astral on eBid account I have no idea.

Funny this was mentioned as only this morning I was looking at getting a response from Google on the subject - but gave up trying to navigate the contact system.

I paid the seller twice with google checkout and it was refunded both times and the seller wouldn't accept paypal so i never got my item.

Funny? I got Paypal as a choice and most of my payments are by Paypal!

Records show no refunds from Google CO except a refund to someone who had paid too much postage!

I think there is a little troll somewhere in the pay of another site that is very worried about the competition. It sits in a dark dingy cupboard and spends all day (and probably night) Tolling through all the Google products looking for anyone from eBid.

I'd like to thank Raindropsies for your very kind reviews and I think I may shadow that troll and add a few reviews myself!...
Oh the name of the troll is anonnymouse or sommat!

It's not fair... it's not honest.... BUT.....I only take note of reviews if all are totally negative... Feedback is more important and that is NOT anonnymouse!

I noticed that same one on my things too Redmerlin and
I don't even have Google checkout I was going to put it on but then they upped the fees!

I was going to ask if anybody has had their latest stuff loaded on Goggle products as when I checked earlier today I couldn't find any of my new things? I hope it's not broken again! Can somebody else do a check for me and see if your new stuff is showing please.
