If you want an example of what's not allowed and have time to do a google search, you can find it here.

I just made this one a couple of days ago. I have several and they all have eBid promotion. It's abit rough on the edges yet. I have more work to do on it. Their program has some great tools.

Can't see a single thing on there that's direct ecommerce. I see nothing that would prevent linking from ebid by their own stated rules. What you do next is, of course, up to you.

Is the Canuckbid's blog not allowed, but the one at Online Auctions is allowed?

My understanding (admittedly not a techy person) is that it is the site that you link to that must not be e-commerce enabled.

Thanks for taking the time to check kimbo.

Hello Frank. It's not e-commerce enabled. You have to click further to get to an e-commerce page.

    Not sure what that means.

That's exactly right. That's the rule. That's not what's happening here.

And as such, both the ones I looked at are within eBid's 'rules'.

Thanks for your time. Well I hope it looks ok. I'm going to add a link on it soon where you can buy off me directly. I didn't before because I thought I would be able to post the blog link on here.

I've never sold direct to anyone before. That would be nice to have a sale directly without anyone else involved. I have a site I've played with for a while. It's kinda "ratty" but you can use PP and buy right from the home page. Any Guinea pigs more than welcome! I need to find out what happens to my listing when someone buys an item. ie whether my API closes the item or I have to do it manually. Another project to do. Add more listings there.

It's just a free sub domain as I have my 2 registered ones linked to my store here and elsewhere. The site has little exposure but I'll tag it into some other stuff.

I've just taken a peek too and I can't see anything there that contradicts the rules as I understand them.

I also spotted your twitter link, so I'm following you now - There are a lot of us from ebid on there - see if you can track most of us down.
