Got to redo the square I was working on

Put it in washing machine to test the colour fastness of the threads as not used these ones before and the blimmin aida frayed so it's a little under the 7 inches now

I can rescue the design to be made into something else, and good news is the thread is colourfast

Could you not cut it down and stitch it onto a 7" square?

I was wondering about that myself, don't think I have any fabric here that would be suitable. Not sure if it would like OK stitched onto more aida. I suppose I could have a play about with it, after all if I'm going to do it again I have nothing to lose.

I can't see any reason why it shouldn't be stitched onto a piece of cotton. I am just thinking that if you stitch/zigzag inside the frayed bit, leave the frayed edges showing, it could look interesting (don't know if you understand what I am getting at)

Like applying a patch onto a card.

Anyway, here is the design, anyone got any ideas for an alternative use?

I was thinking on an a6 notebook maybe or a pencil case

I think you could still stitch it onto the square .And if it doesn't work, use it for something else
