Thread: Doom & gloom to ebid's baby boom! eBid's ever expanding community.

  1. #1

Default Doom & gloom to ebid's baby boom! eBid's ever expanding community.

The new thread is now open to post your photos. Please use this thread for the heckling just to make the judges job easier!

eJean and myself would like to announce the grand opening of the :-

    eBid Bonny Baby Competition
    on the 1st February.

The rules are very simple. All you have to do is find the best baby or toddler photo of yourself (no cheating it has to be you!) and either scan it or photograph it to use as your avatar for the month of February and come and post in this thread. Preferably posting a larger version of your photo here for those of us with poor eyesight!

The Competition will end on the 28th February when our judges the Rt. Hon. Gazza & Mark will visit the thread to judge all your cute little faces ! The judge's decision will be final and there will be no throwing of toys from prams!

    1st Prize :- £100 or $150
    Kindly donated by eBid.

2nd Prize :- Your very own solid silver
teaspoon ( just in case you
weren't born with one in your
    mouth !) & a sweet Peter Rabbit
    tin of jelly babies.
    Donated by Cornishmaid1961

3rd Prize :- Hand made goodies - soaps,
    body butter, lip balm, detox
    footpads, and also some herbal
tea - ( to help reverse the aging
    process !)
    Donated by eJean
Arthur is 90 years old. He's played golf every day since his retirement 25 years ago.
One day he arrives home looking downcast. "That's it," he tells his wife. "I'm giving up golf. My eyesight has got so bad that once I've hit the ball I couldn't see where it went."
His wife sympathizes and makes him a cup of tea. As they sit down she says, "Why don't you take my brother with you and give it one more try."
"That's no good," sighs Arthur, "your brother's a hundred and three. He can't help."
"He may be a hundred and three", says the wife, "but his eyesight is perfect."
So the next day Arthur heads off to the golf course with his brother-in-law. He tees up, takes an almighty swing and squints down the fairway.
He turns to the brother-in-law. "Did you see the ball?"
"Of course I did!" replied the brother-in-law. "I have perfect eyesight".
"Where did it go?" says Arthur.
    "I don't remember."

Please keep this thread bumped and don't post your photo until the 1st February when we will create our eBid nursery en masse. This will give everybody a chance to search for photos and even contact parents to post one to you if you don't have one to hand!
    Good luck!

A fresh thread will be posted for the photos on February 1st as this one will be a mile long by that time!

How long are you away for Jay? You are not away for the whole month of Feb are you? You can put one on when you get back that will still count if it's before the 28th.
