    Oh like were doing too, and now the banks don't want to tell the government where the money is going. Wonder if the Gov would give some back to me?

    my point bein banks ave made millions in profit in past
    so why didnnt they save fer a raini day
    afterall its the banks wat caused this
    offerin ridiculous mortgages/loans

    I think for a start all the ridiculous bonuses that they have received over the last 5 years should be paid to the government (taxpayer) first before considering giving them more cash. That might focus their minds a little more on doing the job correctly, rather than looking to their fat annual pay cheques.

    Wonder if those in office would sit up and take notice if we all refused to pay income tax this year stating we need it worse than they do! I'm sure we would use it more wisely.
