Nah was members of ebid, was a christmas ydc we done one year and we all got together to make it, then we auctioned it, made quite a bit of money, the buyer then kindly donated it to ebid (there was a bidding war on between the buyer and ebid for it)

and it should be hanging up in the ebid offices still i hope

My Dad had a passion for clocks too - and each clock was syncronised to start chiming when the one before it had finished. Only one told the correct time.

New years eve was no different to any other 12 o'clock chime in that we would have clocks chiming for at least 10 mins from the first to the last - and then they'd all kick off again at the 1/4 past chime.

The crazy thing is, because we lived with them, we didn't hear them chime.
