Default How do I set store to Online?

    Hello,

I'm a newbie here. My primary products are motorcycle saddlebags, jackets, helmets etc. I've been selling on-line since 03 so I'm fairly familiar with setting up an on-line store at various sites. Here's my question: I set up a store, entered the requested info etc. The status shows up as off-line. I can't find a button or whatever to bring it on-line. How do I get it "on-line" ?

    eBid Store Link http://us.ebid.net/stores/DONSCYCLEWARE-eBid-Store
    "Status Offline
Add Stock eBid Stores must be "Online" in order to add stock. Before you can go online you'll need to add a logo in Section 1. Title, description, classification and colours in Section 2 and lastly some categories in Section 3."

I have been watching eBid for some time now and finally decided to take the leap. I have high hopes for the site. It appears that so far I'll be the only person selling quality motorcycle luggage so far.

I'll probably have lots of dumb questions. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Best Regards,

    Don

You've 'made' your store, added listings to it, and are ready to put it on line. Go to my ebid, my stores, then choose which store you wish to configure (if more than 1 you get this option). Choose your store. The next page will give you your store summary with online / off line options. If you click the 'put store on line' option (not sure of the exact wording as mine is currently online), it should put the store on line for you.

    I hope this helps.

PS - just clicked your link and it took me to your store with one item showing.

    Hi Babs,

I really appreciate your help! It's up and running now. ( I promised dumb questions and I guess that was my first one.

I'll be loading my products over the next few days and keeping my fingers crossed hoping I make some sales.

    Best Regards,

    Don

Very nice stuff Don. And I like how you explain everything a buyer needs to know.

From one motorcyclist to another, welcome to Ebid, Don! I took a look at your third listing, the waterproof saddlebags and liked the way you had written the blurb - your listing makes you sound very friendly and most of all, someone who buyers could rely on.

    Hope you do well here.
