Some +ve feedback earns Buddy Points, some doesn't?

Does anyone know why some +ve feedbacks gained results in Buddy Points added, and others don't? Tried logging out/logging in couple of times over a couple of days, but no change.

I hadn't realised that. Is it something to do with buyer or seller feedback, or the price of the item feedback is being left for, or perhaps something linked to the number of words in the feedback.

Oh yes! - I have been checking my Buddy statement, that's how I noticed the discrepancy. Thanks anyway.
Bought about 10 CDs/DVDs to keep the grandkids occupied as the weather has turned for the worse. All were on BIN but only 7 produced Buddy points for the BIN, and only 7 for +ve feedback received. Strange thing is, they are not exactly the same 7 on each occasion. Must be a glitch in system somewhere?

Thanks Babs, - to be honest I've no idea why it has happened. I'm not worried about the point fractions, it's just something that's happening that's not quite right.

I definately left you 10 positives. so given the amounts of them you should have gained 0.5% for each one.

When you get them and leave me possitive (I hope) I will let you know how many I gain buddy points for.

Your score did go up correctly though didn't it?

The seller was an extremely nice lady
And yes, my fb did go up correctly, it was just the buddy entries that were 7/10. I'll let you know if anything changes but Bluebedouin may have hit the nail on the head with "A limit is placed upon the amount of Buddy Points you can earn from dealing with a single buyer/seller within a month." However I can't find anything more about what the 'limit' may be - perhaps it is just 7?

The one I didn't get buddy points for ended in 28081-4, 28081-47 & 28081-45

Same here. Never mind, I'll only buy up to 7 items at a time in future. Mind you, too, 7 is my lucky number ...
