I don't pay any attention to them either. I'm the same as akitaslave - I come in via the cp, then new posts. The only time I go into the main forum is if I'm looking for a specific thread that gave help on something and to see if anyone else is about.
I'm still trying to figure out how to get the messages to 'land' in the right place, and the correct way to use the smileys. There's no way I could complicate that by looking how to star rate a thread. Too much head work.
I've done my vote by the way - they don't really serve much purpose that I can see, so not really bothered either way.
The trouble with this poll is that those who can post without being endlessly voted terrible don't care. I don't blame them but it is rather akin to asking cyclists whether they approve of motorways!
The other problem is that it is a trivial problem in the great scheme of ebid and it would cost money to remove them. Can't see it happening.

Hi just been catching up on the star thing. To be honest I don't really notice them. However, I am disgusted at what has happened I agree with others best not to rise to who ever is doing this they have no compassion. This is a very sad time for Patriot & all the family & friends of the people involved. SHAME ON YOU WHO DID THIS come out stop hiding.
