Thread: Sellers...compare your prices before listing!!

Exclamation Sellers...compare your prices before listing!!

Been reading quite a few posts on various forum... several people have said that they tried eBid but found that the items they wanted were cheaper to buy on feebay.

Unless you are selling something completely unique I would suggest that sellers search feebay for the item they are listing (or similar) and make sure that the price they put it up for on eBid is competitive (even if it's only 10p cheaper...you save that in fees anyway).

If things are cheaper on feebay...guess where the buyers are going to go

There is a free auction price comparison tool available which compares eBid, ebba, and Amazon prices on individual items, instantly...it was mentioned in the forums before but I have lost the link. I'm wracking my brains trying to remember what it was ...Auction Eddie? If anyone has the link to that site, could you please post here? Thanks

With all the listings I've migrated accross, I've been able to reduce the price on my items. This is due to the reduced fees on e.bid. This means that I can pass the savings on.

Is this comparison site biased towards eBid?

Don't think so...just searched for USB Light and it brought back auctions from CQOut, Tazbar and eBid in random order.

perhaps I am not searching for the right things

Are you searching for phrase? I'm using 'all', maybe thats why I get more results back?
