ok this is my take on this subject. first i was always told by USPS that once it leave the country they have no control on the item, it falls upon local postal services. the only option is for insurance, which i have sold on other sites, with this and other names, and always require insurance for all international auctions. that way lost, stolen, damaged it is all covered. also all bidders are responsible for customs of there country. there are many reasons why some have been mentions already. but i am not an international lawyer and can not cover all countries policy's and customs. i also carry a no return no refund. as i feel auctions run long enough for bidder to read auction, ask question, ask for more photos, ect. i buy one of a kind items at local auctions and i buy them as is , where is, as found so thats how i sell them. i know some of this might sound mean, but i am also a buyer as a seller. i follow my own rules, if i jump into an auction and get screwed then it is my own fault. some buyers need to take adult responsible for there actions. this is my own opinion from my own experiences, which with all things in life vary from person to person. that being said have a wonderful day!
