I know they can be cashed by anyone if they're not crossed, but crossed ones take the same amount of time as a cheque to clear as they are treated exactly like cheques by the banks .
It's fine when selling higher priced items, you can seamlessly integrate any shipping costs involved
but when others are offering shipping at rock bottom costs
and you're only asking a few pounds for an item, it's not so easy.
Somewhat wary of using Google Checkout as I'm a housewife and grandmother, not a 'Merchant'.
Unless anyone enlighten me on this?
