That's the problems with Car Boots - people want things for next to nothing.

I don't think I'd pay nearly £25 for anything at a car boot, especially branded goods, simply because I'd automatically think they were fake.

(NOT saying that yours are, just saying that's what I'd assume).

well the same as i do on here if peeps spend i throw goodies in had one woman buy loads of nose studs and belly bars

i gave her a nice mixed lot of other body jewellery as she spent nearly £40.00 and i knew i was still making and she has taken my phone number to buy more stuff as she is just opening her own salon and i ttold her for another £60.00 i can get her 3 times as much at near cost price and also put her in contact with a proffessional piercer who does full body

i have sold loads of top designer stuff and i always offer my card so they can contact me ,
i like to prove i`m not selling cheap imports i also take a wholesalers invoice with me to show what i paid for a bundle of stuff and i can work out the cost price of each item to any buyer

This thursday just gone, we did a carboot, we had a dolls house with 150 pieces for sale. We were not being greedy, we just wanted 25 quid for it, (it cost £100, in bits, we built it) I got the 25 quid in the last 30 minutes, but some said, I will give you a quid - 5 quid for it. I lost my temper with one of them who said how much is it, so I said 25, he then said I'll give you 20 for it, I said no, so then he got out his 25 PENCE and thried to buy it for 25p, what a numb nuts. I just turned round to him and quite loudly said, Take it for nothing, will that make you happy you dumb ass. Needless to say the other booters around me looked to see what is going on, and the argument lasted for about 5-10 minutes with the bumb guy, and at the end of it the other stall holders clapped at the end when the guy went off on his merry way.

The thing with car boots is that you get a lot of people on day release from the local mental hospitals IMO, if this is not the case, there should be a lot more people in secure units, or send them to ebay to sell.

if they make genuine offers even if i break even i`m happy with that as i know somewhere down the line i would have made some cash but to offer a price like that
is down right ignorant , it`s obvious i have to pay for items , pay for pitch , petrol etc.
s to make a offer like that just sent me into a rage , and i tell you now this guy could not hold his head up when walking away from my stall , even some polish guys stood there watching in amazement and came over and said thats best laugh they had all week lol cos i said to this ignoramus i will buy your trainers heres 20p for them and threw 20p on table, my wife just hid cos she thought i gonna go round and thump him
