Can someone tell me what YDC is please

what is it, i know its something to with charity, i think i found some listings but not many.
what charities are they?

Please read through all the rules below...Carefully





1) The expected value of your item must be 20 pounds or less.




2) You MUST put YDC51 in the auction title; the auction must be a standard auction and run for 7 days.




3) Your auction must be hosted on eBid.co.uk (http://www.ebid.co.uk/) and it must NOT break eBids rules.




4) You MUST list your item between 6pm Friday and Midnight Sunday.

Even ONE MINUTE too early or too late will mean that your auction will NOT be accepted in YDC.


5) Your auction MUST be for charity (or a good cause) and you MUST add the following to your description:

This auction is an entry in YDC, money raised will go to.....(Add the name of the charity/good cause here )

6) You must not mislead the buyers. Please be truthful.

7) Auction should have NO RESERVE and NO BIN please keep all auction starting prices low.

8) A Items are donated please keep p&p at cost

9) You may list as many items as you wish

YDC, I think started life as Your Donation Counts, but it's now known as Yorkies Daft Auctions.
Basically, on the last weekend of each month, peeps list items for charity ( & have a laff at the same time).

other way round

started as yorkies daft auctions /contribrutions, then i took over done a thread to see about a name change, it was agreed that it should be known as your donations count


but everyone still called it yorkies daft auctions, so i left it

because i want to get some feedback so thought i should buy something.

But not really found anything..then thought about the charity thing............if i gotta spend some money to earn feedback then it may as well go to a good cause, even if i don't really want what i buy?

I suggest you get some feedback as a seller as well, i often look to see if someone i buy off has also sold,because they can then use it to con someone else
