life should mean life for all convicted murderers ,make them die in prison no release whatsoever
i agree with death penalty if the facts show 100% guilty

i cant agree ..so a person who is convicted of murder who may have had a brawl with someone and that someone died as a result say by falling down and banging his head ..and the other person who was having the fight is found guilty should spend life in prison..that would be wrong .now premeditated murder could be a different matter... but look at cases were women who were being beaten up and abused on a regular basis .cant take anymore and strike back with a knife or any weapon ..she should also be in for life..no that would be wrong also...there has to be a line but what is it...and who decides...and death penalty will never be brought back ..thank goodness
typical no bottle response
also why there are so many kids committing crimes and getting off lightly
yes manslaughter should be different to murder
and a brawl is normally classed as manslaughter so your point falls flat on its face
there has to be intent to kill for it to be murder
unless i am mistaken

Either bring back the death penalty or life means what it says on the tin. The Government is too soft on people who any normal citizen can see are trouble, none of these louts go into their lifestyles not knowing what the risks are. If the punishment fitted the crimes they might, just might hange their behaviour, and if they didn't then at least the rest of responsible society wouldn't have to put up with them.

that is not correct at all ..there can be a second charge offered and that is manslaughter..nearly all people are first charged with murder intentional or not..there are hundreds of cases were the charge of murder has been brought aginst people involved in fights which led to death without premeditation..that is a fact.... and plenty of others who have been executed and were later found not to be the person responsible..that is a fact..thats why theres a jury ...to decide the facts and if they cant they can be given the option by the judge of manslaughter..thats a fact ..and why there is an apeal system if the verdict is wrong that is a fact..and thats why there are groups of lawyers who act pro bono for the purpose of helping people wrongly convicted thats a fact..it would not be helpfull if they had been executed would it thats a fact..,
