New Fire Place now fitted and droopy garland on it.

Lights ready for Mike to check out first, I ain't plugging them in, what do you think I am stupid.
Alcohols still in Asda cause it would be gone and i would be having a wonderful time and would not give a toot about Crimble..
Thats me up to date. Now before Christmas have to fit in one eye operation for Mike and a trip back again to the Hospital miles away the day after, with me driving two trips to the dentist and a tiny, tiny little opp on Christmas eve morning.
Apart from that i have nothing to do.

    Unhappy

i myself did christmas shopping some 30 years ago ..i thought you must try it once ..then i realised i did not like anybody i was giving presents to so i never did it again.in fact i dont think i would ever give a gift to anyone whilst im still in charge of my mind ..therapy helps you no..i think that you could all do with a little as this awful emotion of being slappy happy at this time of the year is quite depressing to me ..voice of reason bah

I bought the last of the presents yesterday. It started well. In half an hour it was 6 down, four to go. 2 hours later we had 2 more. We decided on a Chinese lunch. Bad move. Eat all you want buffet for £5.50 a head. Michael ate 3 huge heaped plates full, then started on dessert. I had 1 plate full. Then a slice of chocolate gateau that was light as a feather with a scoop of ice cream.... so I went and got another slice.... as one does. Then they brought out toffee pineapple pieces... I had to try them... would have been rude not to. We finally waddled out after 90 minutes . Somehow the brain didn't want to function. Michael said he could cheerfully sleep for a couple of hours.
It took an hour and a quarter to choose the next present. That left one, and the hardest to choose, for my youngest grand daughter. I finally found a gorgeous baby boutique dress, with blouse and pants.
Neither of us could face any more food yesterday!
My feet are not used to pounding pavements. Today they are complaining and hurting. Now it's the wrapping marathon. That's the worst bit! I usually run out of wrapping paper, the sellotape starts to tear oddly [don't you just hate that?], and I won't be able to find something I put away for safety!
