It would not surprise me.
The site looks like rubbish to me these days and the new fees have certainly alienated a lot of people even if it has done a necessary clean up. It may not have been the best way to go about it....
But as far as Ebid capitalizing, I have the feeling that the great majority of Tazies are already here in one form or another. After all I am one of them...

I just linked to the image on alexa. The graph is, actually, a bit melodramatic as the axis is 70k not 0. But the fact remains that Tazbar has lost around 70k listings in 3 weeks, so many more searches are turning up zero results.

I think that is just wild speculation, if they were just going to close it down they wouldn't have gone to the trouble of making the recent changes, or appointing new staff!

Ever thought it could be the new changes have havent had the effect they wanted, and are the CAUSE of closing down?
Ever thought they may just want to claw a few quid back for a couple of months before pulling the plug?
Who says they have new staff. Unless of course you have inside information that states it. Even that so called PR woman could have been there for months as far as you know.

Is there any source to these 'rumours'? Or is it actually someone on Tsbar trying get people talking about the site under the reasoning any kind of 'publicity' is better than none!
I'm really not sure that this type of plugging helps. yes it may get people visiting their forums to see what the fuss is about, but do any of those people go on to list or buy there during their visit?
