    I have the same problem. I signed up for a free account and have been receiving bills from ebid. I emailed once to inquire about my "free account" and how to remove it and I was told my account could not be removed until I paid ebid. For What! Opening a free account that I have not used? I sent them this, this month:


    I have logged to check my account and I have a free account. Why are you sending me requests for payment? I will not pay.

    Is this a secret ebid problem? What should I do? The credit card was only supposed to be taken for verification purposes.

    My account says :
    "Seller Lifetime
    $0.00"

    Doesn't that mean no fees for a free account? Also there is no place to down grade from free?? There are only upgrades. Go figure??

    You've probably used (maybe without realising it) pay for features in your auctions. If you go to the section 'my money' in your 'my ebid' area you'll see a list of anything you've been charged for.

    Seller level membership IS free. It only cost if you add extras to the basic auctions when listing.

    Did you run any auctions at all?
    If you did were they featured ones?
    Did you select any chargeable options when you listed?
    If so you may have outstanding fee's.

    If you check My eBid - My Fees you should see if you have been charged for any of these things.

    Also check My eBid - My Subscription it gives you details there of any subscription charges made, at the bottom of the page under My Subscription History.
    It shows
    Amount Paid & Reference Number
    Seller Level
    Card Expiry
    Subscription Start
    Subscription End

    If the information shown there is incorrect I suggest to contact support again support@ebid.tv or via the contact us page, & give them all of the details reference numbers ect so that you can sort it out.

    Tried for two months now to cancel my subscription and they still keep taking the money out of my bank account! Seems rather irregular and despite two requestes to cancel subscription and sending e mails nothing happening.

    I honestly don't remember auctioning anything yet. My bid history says no auctions. I emailed ebid saying there's no way I'm paying for nothing and this is what they said:

    "If you go to my eBid log-in then choose the myFees link on the right hand
    side menu, this will show a breakdown of incurrred fees. Please use the back button for
    previous months.

    Let us know if we can be of any more assistance.

    No it's not, it's ebid answering your question. What does it say under your 'my fees' link?

    I thought only the person who sets up a subscription can cancel it? so ebid can't do this for you. You can cancel via your 'my susbcriptions ' link in 'my ebid' area. downgrade to either seller or buyer level ( not seller+) and your subscription will cease. Hope that helps

    Default Trying to end subscription

    I too, am having problems ending my subscription and opting out of selling on eBid. I cannot see where to downgrade, only upgrade. I guess the only other option I might have is to close my CC account that is being billed each month.
