won auctions stats

Hello All,

General question, was looking at the following thread posted by Gazza

giving how many live auctions there are on this site which is all well and good but at the same time does not tell us anything at all.

is there a way of finding out by week or month even how many auctions in total were won, inclusive of buy it now and normal auctions that were won.

This is info I know is available as no business could survive with out those stats.

This would be alot more useful to also pursuede people to sell on here and give buyers confidence to buy on here.

I do alot of business over on the dark side and tell all my buyers and sellers about Ebid but many return to me saying they like the idea but seems to be little traffic or they do not have the confidence to buy on here.

They also say that prices are inflated compared to the darkside and they cannot find what they are looking for on here as choice is limited.

This subject has come up many times. If you can provide figures for eBay then I expect the rest of the auction sites may also give them As to reasons ebayers don't buy here, I have no idea, the amount of traffic should have no bearing on whether you buy something only do you trust the seller and is the price right. I can find inflated prices on ebay as well as here, and whilst the number of listings are smaller there is still quite a bit of choice.

It's not the prices, but the inflated P&P gets on my nerves on Espit. We know it's fee avoidance, but annoying all the same.

If you're doing a lot of business on greedbay & telling all your buyers & (?) sellers about eBid.Why do you not have any auctions on eBid?Of course they're going to return to you on greedbay if you have nothing to offer them here.If they are your existing customers,give them "the confidence to buy on here".Offer them a better deal than what they would get elsewhere.You don't have the fees here so you could reduce your price to them quite dramatically.
