There are 8 cottages, a farmhouse, and school here. A couple of bungalows up the hill a bit, and 4 houses up the other way. The village is over a mile away. We have a field at the back leading to a lake which is nice, but we only get 3 buses a day and last one back is 6 PM. No bus on Sunday. Cinderella does not go to the ball.. or Bingo, or the cinema. Taxi home from the nearest town is £10 .
Oh yes, I forgot. The house was built for midgets. To look out of the upstairs windows you have to be 5' or less. I'm 5'6" and all I can see is the concrete lintel above the window unless I stoop.
The bedroom ceilings slope to fit under the eaves too.
