    Default Britains Favourite View

    Hi

I've been watching ITVs Britains Favourite View and its great, I fell in love with Edinburgh thought it was beautiful, but, then it showed The Gower Peninsular and I fell in love again you can't beat The Gower, also its very near to my home, we are going to make a point of going this week, show the kids a real adventure

never been to Scotland or Ireland, lived in England, but its Wales that does it for me, probably cos I am Welsh and very proud too, but seriously, I find Wales a very beautiful land, I would love to visit Ireland and To see those funny 50p shape stones at the top of Scotland, my Dad went to Ireland and loved it, but after him travelling part of the world, then working abroad for many years, he always said he would love to visit Scotland, so he drove there!!!...alright for some...lol

Three Cliffs Bay for me from tonights selection, I'm afraid townscapes don't do it for me, certainly when there is such stunning countryside around. What does concern me is all these programs that now try and get you to phone in to swell the coffers.

    Hi Ken

So glad you liked Three Cliffs Bay, it got my vote its so beautiful adventurous too, but also reminded me of my childhood here, we had a wonderful time on the Gower, we spent the summer of '76' there, (I make it sound like its a million miles away don't I)

    I'm gonna make a promise!!

I promise to take my sons to Three Cliffs Bay, also to the Long stretch of The Gower Peninsular and to the cave where the "Red Lady" was found (which was a man), and maybe to camp on "Worms Head"......Which I did as a child

Somerset is so beautiful from what I have been told, but sadly I have not yet seen it for myself, hope you get to go again
