Never received a newsletter from eBid:-(

This IS a massive problem

I don't receive emails from Ebid for much at all

I got one y'day to say I had got a sale - felt like putting a flag on my roof! as it was such a surprise lol!

Apart from that I don't get newsletters/buy now sales info/congratulations on being a member emails etc. and have asked about it constantly.

No idea if anybody taking me seriously any more so have been concentrating on my webby

Hopefully one day something will be done about it - maybe - or maybe not

I have only had 1 newsletter in 7 Months..

Gazza how often is the newsletter posted ? and can you put a link to the latest one on the home page...

That way if there are any offers we can see them if we don't get the email..

We need more info about site updates ,offers etc for example is it just me that was told there is a big site update coming this week ?

Joined eBid in Dec 2005, never had email/newsletter from them either.
Not good enough, eBid has the potential to, at the very least, equal eBay however it still lacks the polish of it's rival, still feels awkward and fragmented to use although I have found a few items to buy recently and although that was a very easy process, the searching for the items was not, it needs to be sharpened up if eBid is going to be a serious contender.
The shops section is good although there are a lot of empty stores to trawl through which is tiresome, why open it if one has nothing to sell?

I seem to remember G&M advertising for someone to help with the newsletters about a year ago. Maybe they couldn't find anyone to help them with it? It can be a time-consuming job to come up with one regularly.

I have never received one either. I just expected that as the English booted out our ancestors, they couldn't be bothered with Antipodean social misfits!!!
Seriously, it does seem that there are still a few operational glitches at eBid that need ironing out! I suspect that if these are addressed, sales at this site will dramatically increase.
