Talking Good Afternoon frm Sort of Sunny Spain

Hi everyone...Hope you are all selling well...I am keeping tabs on things from Spain...Sad though it may be, but I do need to keep on top of everything...Had a frustrating, hair pulling out couple of days...Bought a very reasonable laptop as I wasn´t 100% happy about using cybercafe....Trouble is it is all in spanish..duh!!! I can speak and understand some but when it is computer jargon, I am totally lost...I even managed to lose everything even windows (vista)...I bit my OH head nearly off, he was the only one around to vent my anger & stupidity on....Finally managed to get functional again, obviously the screaming fit worked...Anyway a friendly spanish non speaking english guy set up my internet connection. So at least I am on the right track...I can actually access my own PC in UK and check mail, sales and update my own website...The air did get a bit blue when it kept disconnecting when in the middle of uploading my web files...
I am now a reasonably happy bunny and will now hop down town for some well earned lunch...Have to stay in tonight, just cannot miss 24 or Lost...
    Bye all .....

That's OK, because I used one, too.

You want to see what Google Language Tools makes of your last post. LOL!

    No, not rude. Just garbled.

I think they need to work on their translation tools a bit more.

To see what I mean just use them to translate something you wrote, and then translate it back the other way.

Ok! as long as we're all practicing our Spanish.

Buenos dias, como esta usted? (Probably spelled totally wrong! I think almost everybody who has lived in Los Angeles for some time picks up some Spanish without even trying!)

    Muy bien y tu?....
I actually did know that phrase without the translator

I went to nightschool to learn although the class dwindled plus it had a big turn around of tutors..Consequently you lose interest in the need to learn...Not only that, it´s amazing how you get out of the habit of learning and absorbing as you did in those far away school days....
