I agree with previous response - don't give up listing. and I know that this might be way too obvious but have you run price comparisons on your listings? I don't know much about games etc, so haven't a clue their value but I do know that I always compare prices several other places before I buy anything and then I compare prices as I list here - hence the reason I'm a slow lister. I think people who shop in the auctions are hoping to grab bargains and it's by doing so that the 'word of mouth' publicity kicks in. Hope this is helpful and apologies if it has already been suggested elsewhere but sellers here have very little to add on to thier items, especially Platinum members. Even at almost £100 for LIFETIME full upgrade, it is a snip at the price when you compare it to monthly store fees elsewhere, and we get five to try and fill
I thank you for your comments and yes I do always check out prices of competitors although must admit have not checked on ebid for a few weeks!!!
Quick example is the 3170 laser for a PS2 normal web price is £34.99! I sell on greedbay for £19.99 and for £18.99 on here. But not a single one sold yet on here despite selling 10+ a week on the other side for more money!
I will get some more listing up and running as at least it is cheap advertising if nothing else!
Best of luck to everyone selling here and thanks again for your comments

Hello to all again, have you let all you customers know that you have moved and where they can buy your products (cheaper)?

    Talking

HI, I have only been here a few weeks but I love it! I have sold 5 books (all to the same person who was a favourite buyer on the other site). She didn't take much persuading to come and look in here.

Now I am only listing very few items on eBay but each time I sell one I put in a small "bookmark" showing my eBid ID, the ebid logo and the ebid web address saying "If you are happy with this item please have a look at my listings on eBid - you will find some great bargains there".

So I have to keep listing there in order to get the message across as most of my feedback came from unique users. There were lots of repeats but SO MANY! I can't possibly email them all - around 6000 of them, unless I go into my Paypal account and grab the email addys from there but that doesn't feel ethical somehow (am I mad????)

Rambled on too long but I am sticking with eBid - loading it up as much as I can as I don't have that much storage space for things that aren't moving very quickly. I used to sell around 100 items per week, but I am having a lot of fun not selling very much here and it costs me virtually nothing as I took out a Platinum membership.

And the Customer Support is SUPERB!!!!!!!!!!

I might not be rich..............yet.............but I am much happier

HI, me again. Back in this thread someone said to make sure you featured in the "Browse eBid Stores". I assumed I would as I have a store but I am not there!! My store is categorised as Books and Magazines so can anyone tell me what I have to do to be included when browsing stores please?
