Default PAYPAL con trick, watch for it

Hi to all, that use PAYPAL, as I have done for five your,
they put a limit in my account, BECAUSE, IN 5 years I have received £4.500 worth of transactions, and according to PAYPAL, AN EU DIRECTIVE ON MONEY LAUNDERING, means that I must register MY BANK, as the method of funding my account,
CAN ANYONE ELSE SEE THROUGH THIS.
as I see it they just want to use your bank instead of card for
CLAWBACKS,, well it`s not happening on my account,
must add, I did contact them, 5 times, and asked if they would give me in writing, a statement that they would not go into my account, without my expressed permision to remove money.
and guess what, THEY CAN`T, ITS AGAINST PAYPAL POLICY,

    GOODBYE, PAYPAL,

Hi QC, you can still use your card for payments as well even though your bank account is registerd with them.

HI buttons,, afraid not, I went in to my account today to request a payment, and I couldn`t, because of the limit imposed, rang them and thats the sh*t I got.
register your bank details or the limit stays on,
now it does say in the account details, I can still use my account for, sending, receiving, requesting, transfering,
    but thats not true, HONESTLY,
but I mean, £4.500 in five years, from different accounts,,,,does that look like money laundering,

I have two paypal accounts and i have had to add bank details to both so no i am not wrong, i just used it now to send a payment from my visa. Paypal will have put a limit on your account if you haven't added your bank ect in the allotted time they gave you, it isn't a new thing one of my accounts had to have the bank details added 18 months ago. if you don't want it the best thing you can do is the add the bank details they want, give them the other info and then they will lift the limit on it and then you can close it and open another one later, if you dont give them the details then you can't close it and it will remain on hold / limited.

buttons, you have had to add bank details ,this is what I wont do, they wont show me any EU information that says I must,
they wont give me an assurance, THEY wont take money from my bank, I do not trust them to go into my bank, so its the latter of your recommendations, and close it,

crusales, the directive on moneylaundering does not state thet you must give them your bank details , to comply with the law you need to supply authenticated id , a copy of your passport/driving licence/ 2 forms of address id and a copy of your bank statement- you do not have to register your bank details only provide them with a certified copy of the documents. dont let them force you into registering your bank , you dont have to paypal policy or not it is not a legal requirement

After you have added your bank details you don't actually put money into your paypal account, what happens is when you go to pay someone it will take the payment straight out of your bank account instead of off your card unles you instruct it on the payment page to use your card, must admit it has caught me out a couple of times when i wanted to use my hubbies card and i forgot to tick visa payment and it took it out of his bank account, And then i got sussed quicker

I sold an item on Feebay and the buyer paid with paypal.

I posted the Item - £30.00 value but I did not bother with recorded delevery. Duh !

The buyer left +ve feedback and even Emailed me to say thanks.

Then TWO weeks later HER payment (credit card) BOUNCED with Paypal.....

So Paypal TOOK THE MONEY BACK FROM ME. & I never saw it again.

So Now EVERYTHING goes recorded delivery over a tenner.

And I only take Paypal from CONFIRMED ACCOUNTS.

And it still does not feel safe...

I contacted the Police and they said Paypal was a joke security wise and they were Swamped with complaints about them

To Stay on Topic - Paypal are still nagging me to Register my Bank Details and set up Bank Funding - never in a million years........ Why on earth would I want to transfer money INTO MY Paypal account lol
right on CRUSALES; I am closing my account, I cant, while its limited (RESTRICTED ) so just have to give them the details,
no money in p/pal account so just close it once they have the details, their loss,

button, thats thr bad bit, THEY TAKE THE MONEY,
    not out of my bank,

and lets not forget, unjust clawbacks, straight in there,
now getting it back from your bank, is not so eary, as getting it back from your card, THATS THE REASON BEHIND IT,,,
