IMHO I think that if ebid did go down the same route as fleabay, then the fees would probably increase. With all the free auctions running, I just don`t think that TV advertising would be viable, after all the money has to come from somewhere to pay for it.
Having said that, I can`t complain, as I always use the free auctions and have a sold a couple of items recently...LOL...
    Guess I`m just a penny pincher ;-)
    Kind Regards,
    Ian.

good going lofty your off to a flying start as long as you have been paid? Ive had a good few things bid on but then thats it no contact nothing the first two items i sold on ebid i didn't get paid for so had to relist some people it seems like the thought of bidding on stuff but dont like paying. i still think ebid could do with more advertising you see adverts for the other site but sadly nothing for ebid Ive personally emailed people and told them all about the great variety of items on sale and Ive told all my family and friends but a add on the TV couldn't hurt ? the little ebid lad on the box would draw a lot of attention.

    Wink

I have sold over 110 items in the last 30 days UNFORTUNATLY they are all Bar 1 On the OTHER SIDE. BUT having said that I am SICK SICK SICK of there Fees!. Its difficult to work out if its better to have slow sales or Quick sales but quick profit. Lets face it If your selling you dont want stock lying around so I have to say Quick sales....But those fees......

Yes but what i said was don't knock her shop, belittling what others do is not nice hun. You just came back on here saying we were right cause you got a big bill from "that lot" so don't start knocking the place again, play nice
