The one I use is the Vanguard VS-80...................................
Folded height = 220mm (8 5/8 inches)
Extende Height = 210mm (8 1/4 inches)
Weight = 330g (0.73 pounds)
I can't remember how much it cost (I think it was around £10).
If you are going to buy something like this, I would suggest a trip to Jessops so that you can see what you are buying. But when you have found what you want check out listings on the internet.
