just as i was thinking about going back to the dark side a kind person has purchased 2 items from me thereby giving me a bit more of a reason to stay and try a bit harder,think i will list a few more items now as due to lack of sales could'nt be bothered before,but now i will get my backside into gear.

I've just had my first sale . Buyer has no feedback. Has told EBID they have sent a postal order......I take it then that EBID supplied my address????

Will wait and see.

I think slow and sure is the way EBID will progress. I am revamping my EBAY store this month but will also list evrything on EBID as well at a lower price.
Any sales on EBAY will automatically have a flyer inserted referring them to EBID for future purchases

Hello ttoc48 Great looking EGYPTIAN GIFTS you have in your eBid shop, it good news to hear you will be list more items on eBid, I don't know if it would help to attract more buyers if you used more description on the promotion thread,ie PAPYRUS PICTURE OF ANUBIS,PLATE FROM LUXOR EGYPT,TUTANKHAMUN are all great keywords,and the all about page is a good place to describe what you have, you never know what search engine bots pick up from the forums and the
All About ttoc48 page, anyhow just a thought.

When you make a sale you should receive an automated email with your buyers details on (including address) and they will receive an automated email with your address on. You can then send them an invoice but it sounds like your buyer didn't wait for that bit.
You can use your AAL in My eBid so you know how far your transaction has progressed. Sounds like your buyer has filled in the 'payment' part of the log and you then receive another automated copy saying he has sent a postal order to you. You can do the same when you post your item - you both then receive another email to say the item has been shipped.
Hope that makes it a bit clearer.
