With todays TEXT SPEAK that we all seem to have fallen into in some way or other, it almost doesn't matter any more.

I know if i could be bothered to SPELLCHECK everything my posts would be better but i can't ........ so there you go!

Michael has to have a Spell checker or we wouldn't understand his work at all. It isn't infallible though as it doesn't differentiate between similar sounding words. Michael will put WICH. The Spell checker will correct it to WITCH or WHICH. WOOD and WOULD are another pair. The resulting sentences make me laugh as the meaning is totally changed. I have never been able to explain to him why Cough is pronounced "coff" yet Bough is pronounced "bow". Is that bow as in bend at the waist, or bow as in ribbon? It is a miracle to me that any of our children learn to spell anything, as there are no rules. He is always mixing up "where" and "were" too.
