My kids NEVER run riot ... they have no time.lol

Eldest is in 6th form doing A LEVELS and works on wk end now and is a connexions youth leader.

Middle one is in year 11 and spends 6 days out of 7 swotting and doing her teacher training in the local junior school when they have events etc.

Youngest does boxing, basket ball , swimming and is an anti bullying mentor at his school.

If i had prayed for perfect kids i could not have been better blessed.
I've seen you speak of your kids on here before, and I know they're good 'uns.

On a separate issue, I hate calling them kids, but children sounds so prissy. Is there an in-between?

Bairns is ok, but I'm not Scottish so feel a bit silly using it.

Offspring sounds a bit derogatory. (A paler version of spawn?)

    Fruit of my loins? lol

Tell me EA, do you have any fruit of your loins? lol

Aww that is a lovely thing to say about your kidz Elaine.

Maggie the cat...... I agree there is always another side of the coin..... I think it is a sad day when a parent feels they can't discaplin their children, and theres is a lot of worring things going on due to the lack of respect around these days.....

The parents whom act as bad as their children need to go to room 101...have met plenty of em!

I am just glad that my children are allowed to be seen and heard, and that what they have to say is usually funny, loving and kind! But as they are kids they some times mis-behave.... usually when the 'better parent' is there to throw me a judgemental TUT........ Get em into 101!

I do indeed, 4 that I know of.
Can you not imagine me standing at the front door, calling them in from play, shouting...
"Come on, fruit of my loins, you're tea's getting cold!"?

I normally say children (I know I said kids just now) but I like Elaine's suggestions. Kidren and chids.
