Default Am I the only one not selling at all? :...(

    Hiya,
Been here not long ago but I'm feeling pretty discouraged because I don't happen to sell anything... am I doing anything wrong? Please feel free to have a look at my shop and tell me your opinions.
    Thank you, all comments welcome,

    Ros

    Cool

There doesn't seem anything wrong with your auctions and you have started to build up your feedback, which is important, if you want to be trusted as a seller.

You do have a few items on, but you might want to consider putting even more auctions on! Some successful sellers on here have been selling on a few years and they have hundreds, if not, thousands of items on for auctions/Buy It Now and that has got to help to direct traffic to your wares!

Also, why don't you post a link of your store/auctions in your forum signature, so when you post any threads people may click & have a nosey at what you're selling. It's easy to add a link, just go to 'User CP' at the top left hand corner, then choose 'Edit Signature', copy and then paste your link in there

After you've done that, come and make yourself familiar/popular down in the Kitchen Table forums where, as I've mentioned above, people will get to see the link to your auctions!

Don't forget, you've only been here barely a month, some sell on their 1st day, others (like me, LOL!), take months/years to make a sale, but it's nothing compared to the sales I used to make on eBay and one reason for that is, eBid hasn't being around as long as eBay, but they are getting there

Chin up! It all takes time and effort and the more you put in, the more you'll get out of it.

It's coming up to that time of year again where sales are gonna be on the up and up. Have you tried selling other stuff too?

I'm guessing you used an online translator - they leave a lot to be desired eh?

The best way to build up feedback initially is to buy a few items from other sellers, then others can see that you pay promptly and are reliable etc.

Good luck with your sales too

One way I'm doing it is to tell ALL my Ebay customers about my shop here.

Every sale I make there I pop a flyer into the packet with my Ebid shop's URL address on it. I also point out in the flyer that they can pick up my items cheaper on Ebid.

Not sure quite how effective this is... but I've sold 7 or 8 DVDs here in the last 2 or 3 weeks. A small amount compared to my Ebay sales, but it's a start on weaning myself off the Ebay Feebottle. lol
