Thread: Sigh!

  1. #1

    Default Sigh!

I'm missing my grandson TJ like mad, he went to France with his other grandparents last sunday.

It's only been a week and he's not due back untill next sunday.

We're like a double act when we're together, we bounce off of each other. Being split up is like Laurel without Hardy, Abbott without Costello, Batman without Robin, Morcombe without Wise, or a sunday roast without yorkshire pud's.....it's just not right.

I can't wait untill I see him next week. I'm looking forward to his tales of his holiday and to go for a stroll with him along the river Colne and to chat with each other like a couple of old mates catching up with whats been happening in each others lives.

I'm also looking forward to a couple of weeks time when I have my three daughters here along with TJ and Lexi, it will be the first time that we have all been together at once. It will be good to have Lexi in my arm's and TJ at my side while talking with my daughters.

Family.... what would we do without them eh ?

We'd get a life and have some other interests?

Dunno ?, I can't imagine what life would be like without them... and I don't want to.

I have other interests besides family, just non as important.

Michael, the grandson who lives with me, went on holiday with his cousins on Friday. It seems awfully quiet here now. He won't be back until the 27th. I agree with you Frank. My children, grandchildren, and my great grand daughter are most important to me. Anything else is insignificant compared to them. They are the nearest we get to immortality.

    So why pose the question?

Been there several times lass, it's awfull. We're happy for them having the experience but we worry about them all the time that they're away.

The question was rhetorical. I hadn't realised that we now have to explain our reason's for making a post on KT.

    The 27th ?! , that's a long time lass.

I suppose these spell's apart help us realise just how much we love them, not that we need much reminding. lol

Then I apologise for taking your post seriously enough to bother replying. I shall try and remember that your questions do not require answers from now on.
