I poked it once or twice with the stick off the window blinds and was assured that what ever it was, would not come through.
Then one day ( as you would expect lol ) it all just BURST! Water everywhere and it stunk!
You know like if you get something wet and it doesnt dry off properly. ( VOMIT ) we ripped up the carpets and spent hours cleaning up. AMAZINGLY the insurance covered it and we had new wall paper and carpets and dozens of hanging airfreshners. lol

I know a NORMAL person would have called a plumber right away, but i am not normal. lol

So i am glad yours is not that bad.

I have never claimed anything else off our home contents insurance and im sure i should have cus things are always breaking and needing replaced in this house.

PS : How come the tank split ? Do you know.
Ooh eck! It sounds like an alien thingy growing away on your ceiling, waiting for the right time to erupt? (Like Alien?) And spewing all down everywhere!! lol. Now who's got the weird imagination around here? Maybe you pi**ed it off by poking it, lol! Seriously, sounds like a nightmare to me! Glad your insurance coughed up for repairs for ya.
How did the fishtank burst? Gawd knows! T'was only 8 days old, only just brought it. Looked okay to me. The woman at the shop when I took it back gave it a good looking over, think she was ready to accuse me of busting it! But it had ruptured in a strange place, so she thinks it was a hairline fracture in the glass that just went. Tell you sommat, my other tank is twice the size, I'm dreading if that one ever leaks! P'raps I should buy a lifeboat!!

sorry to hear that shelley You deff have your hands full hun. Time you had a break if you ask me xxx

School hols ok here, thanks, though they do argue more ... too much time on their hands i recon. Ive sorted out 1 thing to do each wk with them till we go to butlins, nat has her euro thing coming up, so we might get through it unscathed. Though i did have to shout @ them earlier, when christine rang me up, But she had to shout at her dog too. lmao , so was quits.

LOL @ U Chiq, i think your quite mad
