Saw a massive storm SW of Bedford very high clouds lots of lightning but couldn't hear it at all so it must have been a long way perhaps near your flash flooding.

The kids and I grew the pumpkin plant to get ready for Samhain/Halloween, but now we are moving in a few weeks time so we won't be able to enjoy it :-(
