In which way it can be corrected as it was suggested in order not to waist time or just removed? Or maybe a previous one will be given link to finally?

Not sure what the issue is. Drag and drop works ok, no problem in loading pictures.

Do you have slow internet connections on your Island or bandwidth saturation? That may be an issue for you. Is your internet cable or satellite.

Is there a problem with linking comms from the island, to test this can you get broadband TV that is not from a satellite

Suggest you try out other methods of connection and try what you have early morning or other times of day.

How is your mobile system, do you have 5G, use your mobile as a tether to a pc? perhaps?

This uploader works fine in the UK and if there was complaining to be made I would be making it.

Stop generalising. You don't speak for all of us. I have a rubbish ADSL, despite being in Surrey, and I don't have mains gas or mains drainage, so you can tell I'm in a rural area. I have only about 5 megabit/s download, but for uploading pictures what matters is my upload speed. I've not measured it, but it's dog slow, as in a 3 legged dog.

I said it before: could we have the original simple uploader, the ORIGINAL fancier uploader (which I'd learned to live with) and the new uploader?

Generalising? more like trying to identify an issue that could resolve this guys problem.

If, on the whole, the uploader works for many people then it is more likely to be a localised issue that it is causing the problem.

If as you say it does not work for you and if as you explain that you live in worst conditions than the back end of india then perhaps you also have an issue with your comms and using the uploader.

Have you tried uploading on a 5G Mobile in a civilised environment?

No it is not the issue of existance of the uploader. It is obvious.
The issue is that it is a must to WAIT till the uploaser finish its animation! This is horrible and should be corrected.

The previous version does not have this feature and works quick.

    1 click. Choose images.
    2 click. Upload.

Now no way. Not at all.

    Now.
    1 click Choose images.
wait and wait and wait till the animation with finish. See the result of this time wasting at the presented image in the discussion above.

Then and only then the seller will be allowed to click Upload. So we have 3 steps, 2 quick and one free animation which lasted for eternality!

    Why?

Who with which brains decided to substitute standard uploader with 2 clicks (there are even essentially simpler uploaders with 1 click at standard marketplaces) with this horrible time waster?
The seller knows what he is putting on sale. He saw images, no neediness to watch animation about his images. Just count how much time wasted on uploading images by sellers during a day!

Why not to allow to use the standard uploader? It was not broken, no neediness to spoil it.
Or why not to use its functionality in the at the moment horrible one? Why not to add an option: if one ticks it ones in a life there will be no animation and the button "Upload 11 files" will be available immediately?

    It is so obvious!

At the moment the situation is still not solved.

So the question is the same: in which way the standard uploader can be reached while the horrible one be corrected or just removed?

The question to consider is why do you and a mere one or two others have this problem, whilst the majority are not complaining about it. Personally I have no problem with this uploader. It has facilities i don't need, but that is a different matter all together.

Many years ago I worked for a computer manufacturer and would visit customers. I would tell them about a new version of the system we'd be installing and what changes there were.

Me: and the developers made changes X Y and Z...

Them: Oh, thank God, we've been having to work around those problems for ages and hoping they'd be fixed.

Me: Really? Why didn't you tell us?

Them: What's the point, nobody ever listens...

Me: These changes were only made because the devs noticed X Y and Z could be improved, we had no idea this was impacting anyone!

So never ever say "a mere one or two others". And even if in reality it's just a very few, remember that there are many different ways of using software, so what shows up and is significant in one person's workflow may be of no consequence for another.

I'm not sure what Penny1933 is saying about having to wait. I've not used the simple uploader and the old 'advanced' uploader used to have a rotating thingy while my pictures uploaded. It didn't take long considering the files were several megs and if some days things were slow I could always switch over to reading my emails or something.

I still say that it would greatly smooth the introduction of this new feature if Gazza gave us a choice between three: the simple uploader, the old advanced uploader, and the new super-duper uploader. Someone having problems with super-duper could try old advanced instead, and see whether the experience really is better or worse.

And finally: PENNY1933... saying things like "Who with which brains..." is not constructive and won't help your case. For 20+ years Gazza has worked wonders on this site and he deserves full credit for it. You're not addressing some faceless horde of devs working in a basement like a mushroom farm, as is true for many sites. Don't bite the hand that feeds. I don't myself always manage to be constructive in my comments and I regret it when I don't, so I understand your frustration, but try to put yourself in Gazza's shoes and think about what he needs to know to understand why you're dissatisfied.
