Auction Patrol - Sale Cancelled FVF refund still not automatic. Needs to be fixed.

It is Good to see eBid are protecting their sellers.

But.... now this happened to me just like FrogBearCreations and Ropegg and to no surprise.......

Even though support have been in the past requested to refund automatically the FVF or at least leave an option on the ASL from the link eBid provide to reclaim.

The only thing allowed is to repost. I have manually to raise a support request for the FVF.

Perhaps they want it handled by support so that the wider context can be looked at, and a decision made about whether to ban the buyer or send them some info on how to use the site, or something. Better than a site where everything seems to be decided by (rather poor) AI.

I agree the decision is by eBid support. They take the action under "Auction Patrol" banner, and I am happy with that. Even though the listing disappears from My Sold list & Listings I ran.

It is the fact I now have to chase them via support@ebid.net for the FVF refund, whereas the refund could be automated on supports action or at least left as an option in the ASL.

This is what has been asked for previously, automated or left as an option.

You have to follow the link support provided to repost the listing, that is not a problem that will be my decision, but the listing does not have the ASL displayed to request FVF Refund.

BTW the another way to the listing is via fees&invoices. But it is the same result the listing with no ASL, just the repost button.

An automated refund would be the best way, leaves only two clicks to repost the item. I am sure FrogBearCreations and Ropegg would have liked this rather than quite a number of emails screen shots etc.

Good point, Robbie, I hadn't fully thought it through. Fortunately a cancelled sale is only a theoretical possibility for me so far. Long may it remain so!
