But you will not get those. So if you make do with what is available, then you are looking at trends. And, as we know that traffic and visits per item is often skewed by bots this makes views, apart from zero views, unimportant.

The figures I am recording should be considered against wider events such as what is Trump doing to de minimus post, how will the Canada postal strike affect things, are there really more people signing to eBid because of eBay. That information is more at a national level.

If somebody wants to record a catagory level of items for sale ( glass, stamps, coins, electrics etc) please do so so we can see trend in that catagory, the more info the better. For me, at the moment, I am happy to know which countries I like to sell to are increasing their ebid profile. Feel free to add your own countries of interest.

I would like to see sales per catagory on a weekly basis, as that would be the next best selling tool to advertising, but I can only dream.

No, the numbers don't matter. Those are big stores. Probably the biggest stores. Nobody has seen stores this big before.

Feedback is all earned exclusively on eBid. (Dont see how imported fb is relevant under a different regime).
Wow, lot of work, well done.

I agree with you, feedback elsewhere has very little relebance, once you start selling successfully. I didn't import mine either. But I think it would be nice if a new, but experienced elsewhere, seller could import feedback initially, to give some degree of confidence, then, after the first few sales, remove it so all is ebid feedback. Maybe it's something support could do for new sellers, if requested.

You did not wear a suit to make that comment, that shows disrespect to the American film industry who we know clearly showed that Americans won World War 2 without anybodys help. You are playing with other peoples film, you are playing with Rocky 3.

We will put biglest ever tarrifs on your films, don't know how yet, but we will, somehow.

We will tax your Steel, your Cars, your Films (including DVD's) your Post and anything else we can get away with and sir Kier will do nothing about it or retaliate, because that is the nature of the Special Relationship.

American Government, screwing the British since the beginning of WW2

I see that JD Vance (no relation to JD Weatherspoon) has just been complaining that a number of European countries will not buy American weapons now that the USA is withdrawing its NATO support from Europe, and that American arms are the best in the world (and need American permission to use them once purchased) and that this is unfair as it would hurt the America arms industry.

I wonder if the same approach will apply to eBay

You could not make this up !!!!!

Someone earlier mentioned that more important figures are those for Traffic etc. which "we will not get".

Someone on the obay board replied to a thread saying that they found them on google. A rough quote of their reply is Ebid UK traffic - up 50%.
Obay traffic - down 3%. The disparity done to the relative size of the sites.

Thanks for that - did not think this would be available outside of the business.

After digging around, a good site for eBid stats is https://www.similarweb.com/website/ebid.net/#overview

This site confirms what I was thinking that Germany was the 4th most active country after the UK (most active), then America (2nd) Canada (3rd) France was 5th. This is useful info.

Also it shows Youtube as providing the highest social media referal rate at 80.5%

Wow, they said that over there on the community forum? And it didn't get pulled and the poster hit with the ban hammer? Maybe the mods have seen the light and are too busy sending their CVs out.

How about Obay traffic down 3%, Obay forums up 200%, https://reddit.com/r/ebayuk traffic up 300%? I've no evidence, those are just wild guesses. Both those forums have seen such an outpouring of hate and derision the past few months.

I had closed my listings because I wasn't feeling well. Things are somewhat better now. So, I opened up my 5 Canadian shops again this morning. Now to get some listings back up and running.
