Hi Buttons think we are all having very windy day we have had the sun wind, showers a a sleet shower but at the moment we have sunshine.

We have fun around here because The train station opposite us, has had fun trains not running as trees are down all over the place over the lines, people ARE HANGING AROUND HOPING BUT ACCORDING TO THE WEBSITE TRAINS ARE NOT running at the moment.

    Hope everyone stays safe,

Ello troops, just popped in to make sure the barracks are still in one piece !

Crikey what a night and it's still blowing a gale here. Can't say I slept last night but not because of the storm, had a night of women behaving badly.
My friend from across the road came over and also my new neighbour from directly opposite, they arrived at 8.00pm and rolled home at 4.15am so along with the storm I hope we made enough noise to keep him upstairs awake ! Decree Nisi has been applied for but he is still holding things up by not providing my solicitor with the correct financial details.

Cadet Malcolm completed on his new flat yesterday but it's all been a nightmare. His solicitor has been hopeless with one hold up after another so they can't get the keys until the 1st Dec and the cadet is due to go into hospital on the 30th for an operation on his knee ! Not looking forward to all the hassle when it's my turn to move.

Hope your toe is feeling better Private Buttons. Good news about the advertising Lieutenant Maplegin, just make sure Corporal Somerset keeps up a good defense though ! Hummm, wonders how to keep Private Cats away from the front page so she doesn't keep noticing my listings whizzing past in the sold section ?!
Now I have had a complaint from the infirmary that some of their oven ready nurses have gone missing ... please stop this as it's not a good smell in the mess for us vegetarians !

Well I'm surprised how cold the freezer and fridge still were, must really have been cold
    - will dump the ice-cream and some cheap chips and odds and ends and so on ....
but two pots simmering away on the hob, one of mince and one of stew, browned with the onions and then the carrots added (waste not want not lol)
and when they cool down / are cold they can go back in portions for other days.
Only one ready meal in freezer so transferred to fridge and will have later, yes the Stroganoff, hurrah.

Watching the news it looks horrendous out there all over the UK. Local Met Office forecast shows wind speeds / gusts back to normal here thankfully.
Apart from the high winds attacking the power lines we had no ice or snow here and no damage in this area with tiles, roofs or debris etc blowing about.

Still 'the great unwashed' - not chancing it until food cooked and Strogi eaten!!!

    Take care all ...
