Based purely on a search and not knowledge the first would appear to be a Thailand General Revenue stamp. Ref: https://www.stampcommunity.org/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=67431

Thanks, I should have been able to read that it is Thai, but it is an old script.

Now I am trying to identify:

I wasnt aware that there would be follow-up questions.

Maybe not of much help but there is a matching image at https://www.alamy.com/photo-stamp-pa...332598146.html but that has 'Pakistan Postage' at the top. Might give a clue into what area to look in.

No thread is old thread. The second one (https://www.ebid.net/forums/attachme...3&d=1619166780) reads in Arabic "Syrian Republic or republic of Syria" 5 qirshs (old syrian pound => https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syrian_pound), probably something to do with revenue or finacial tax stamp in arabic. As to date, syria became the "Syrian Arab Rebublic" in 1961, so I'd say at least it's before that date or around it if they carried on a year or two using the same stamp.

Yeah, this is a Syrian Revenue from the Coat of Arms series. Frame A for the lower values circa 1949
