Based purely on a search and not knowledge the first would appear to be a Thailand General Revenue stamp. Ref: https://www.stampcommunity.org/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=67431

I wasnt aware that there would be follow-up questions.
Maybe not of much help but there is a matching image at https://www.alamy.com/photo-stamp-pa...332598146.html but that has 'Pakistan Postage' at the top. Might give a clue into what area to look in.
Oh, and your other one...Iraqi? https://www.alamy.com/postage-stamps...370863932.html
Thanks, I don't like being defeated in the detective work of identifying stamps. It looks like Iraqi script, possibly saying that it is a revenue stamp, but there is nothing I can find in the stamp catalogues that looks like the crest in the stamp. So this one is ongoing!

No thread is old thread. The second one (https://www.ebid.net/forums/attachme...3&d=1619166780) reads in Arabic "Syrian Republic or republic of Syria" 5 qirshs (old syrian pound => https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syrian_pound), probably something to do with revenue or finacial tax stamp in arabic. As to date, syria became the "Syrian Arab Rebublic" in 1961, so I'd say at least it's before that date or around it if they carried on a year or two using the same stamp.
