leave em too it, the English still think there better than every one else the empire died 100 years ago , what did they think when they forced there mix of several languages on every one else , english is a mixture of Celt, brethonic , Anglo Saxon, Norman. and who ever else popped over, in another 30 years we will have Asian influences, Americanisation will be the nearest form of so called English left.

Oh dear! Doesn't take much to bring things out from the woodwork, does it?
For information:
Concerning the 12th Century theory mooted earlier: The rulers and nobility spoke French; the Flemish traders had not quite perfected "Anglisch" and it was many centuries before the top brass lowered themselves to speaking any form of it. (this is why so many know that "hound" is English but do not realise that "dog" is French)
"expert" may be defined as follows - an "ex" is a has-been and a "spurt! is a drip under pressure.....if you remember that, you'll know why things go wrong!
cant really see the point in your post but it does confirm what i say ,if you like a in depth study in english of english i could oblige or perhaps youd prefer the medium of welsh, are you rusty in Cymraeg ?the over tones of Latin perhaps, thats the price you pay for forsaking your country for gain,
"spurt! is a drip under pressure. is that supposed to be funny a play on my shop name you have a good memory not used that for years, any time you want to play just let me know

hello new member so whats the topic americana?
Hi, welcome to eBid. Hope this focus on Americanization of post card categories does not turn you off from using the forums. The forums themselves seem to be quite UK centric for an international site. In general, bantering aside, eBid has a pretty good group of users (buyers & sellers).
