    Default Does eBid email invoices?

    I logged in today and find a notice that my account will be closed down if I don't pay my bill of $1.31. This was for Nov not an overdue bill and I found it to be VERY rude. I paid it immediately and would have done the same if I had received an email stating the amount.

    I got an invoice this morning via email. So far I have got one of these every month. I have never received a threat to close my account. Perhaps you should contact Support.

    Before I got an email and the payment was automatically taken from my PayPal account.

    I guess it just shocked me that it was so rude and demanding.

    You're not the first person in the forums to remark that eBid management really needs to review the auto-generated email templates and take care with the language.

    Maybe you should quote the example (and your reactions to it) in the Website Glitches forum to encourage attention.

    Thank you for the suggestions. The problem is that when I clicked to pay by PP the message disappeared.

    I got an email, but the amount was too low to be required to pay right now, so it wasn't rude or nasty. That really isn't right. Is your account still set up to have the payment taken automatically? You could check that. Yikes...…...and you is such a sweetheart! How on earth could they be rude to YOU????

    Thank you HM, I'll check to see that the setting is still there--I didn't change it. It said something like I was several months behind on my payments but then showed 0.00 for every month except the current billing cycle and it was only $1.31 so thought they over-reacted.

    BUT maybe I read too much into it. You know I'm getting old and crabby!

    At one time if the fee was low they instructed us not to pay but now regardless of the amount they want paying.
    I think it would be better if they took the money out of our accounts like ebad do.

    I no longer receive any e-mails from eBid – invoices, sales, queries, newsletters, nothing – despite my eBid settings being set for e-mails to be sent to me. So you are not alone in not receiving communications.

    Regarding the tone of the comment, I stopped posting new listings here after they threatened to delete all my listings as I had not logged on for a period of time. The tone of that communication was dreadful and for me it was the last straw.
