This is an oft repeated trope on eBid. That and the unfriendly tone of the emails.

English? there are many little variations and meanings of which causes much confusion on a site such as eBid.
It would help if managers of said site knew that. Certain words are NOT insults in USA but here they are
It turns many away... and if you do not know what I mean.. so be it.

True. I hoped that drawing attention to just one specific typo might get that fixed, though of course it would be nice if it provoked a wider review.
Considering the vast amount of effort that's been expended on programming the site, it's a pity to spoil it for such easily fixed issues.
No, I don't know what you mean. I'm even struggling with the difference between USA and 'here' (North Carolina), are you suddenly in a separate nation within the USA?
If you're aware of typos or unfortunate wordings on the site, don't beat around the bush, be helpful, state what they are. Hopefully they may be fixed.
This isn't eBay. The site managers here have a good track record of listening and fixing problems.

Gill (pronounced Jill) "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful" William Morris 1834 - 1896
Unfortunately, we in the US do sometimes run into issues with words and phrases used in our common language that have proved awkward. I, myself, ran afoul of the censors on the old Tazbar forums when I used the American term for an item which, I believe, you UK folk call a "bum bag." Frankly, y'all talk funny.
I had a problem with US mods on the dark side not accepting that a statement was an indecent suggestion. I had to wait till Monday morning when the first Englishman to see my complaint reacted swiftly.
This will always present its challenges, but hinting at the problem will never solve it.
